Karina Moul, who also goes by "Kiki" is the mastermind behind this high quality jewelry brand. Growing up on a tropical island helped define Karina's love for marine life. Most of her inspiration came from her later years of travel along other Caribbean islands and working among some of the worlds finest jewelers...
HOW IT STARTED
Growing up above a marine reserve in Puerto Rico was a dream for any child. Playing in tide pools and making coconut boats for the hermit crabs to bravely sail the shore in. Pretending to be castaways opening coconuts on rocks and eating mangoes until we itched with sticky sap and ran into the ocean. My respect and love for the incredible nature was ingrained in me from the start. When I create jewelry, I think of this place. The place that inspires me.
LEARNING THE ART
Karina has been working in the jewelry industry for the past 16 years. Spending time with different designers around the globe. She worked for 5 years in St Barth creating designs for her dear friend and mentor Katja Bentzen. Specializing in Tahitian and South sea pearls on the softest hand-rolled leather. This was the place that started her big love for pearls. She went on to spend 2 years living in Australia and traveling through southeast Asia and French Polynesia collecting treasures and inspiration along the way. Right before the pandemic, Karina moved back to her home of Puerto Rico and decided it was time to share her passion fueled by this beautiful world. She found that this was what she was supposed to do.

With the exclusion of pearls, we have a limited vintage shell collection from the beaches of Puerto Rico. This collection is rare and one of a kind! We only use broken shells that are not usable as homes for sea-life. Our jewelry is truly unique, with each piece having its own story and character.
